ABOUT ME:

I grew up in the Dominican Republic (DR) where I studied music and visual arts for most of my childhood. In 1994, I moved back to New York City after finishing high school to pursue a career in the visual arts. I received a B.A. in Studio Art from Hunter College in 2004. I have participated in various collective exhibits and won an honorable mention in the XXIII Visual Arts Biennial of the Museum of Modern Art in Santo Domingo, DR. I was a teaching artist for the Brooklyn Arts Council and PS/IS 111.  I was also the Administrative Director of CAS/AileyCamp Staten Island and Public Relations Assistant for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. I currently work at Petrossian, Inc., a caviar and gourmet foods distributor , as Sales Administrator and Airlines and Cruises Coordinator.

I have three wonderful children and a fantastic husband that also happens to be an incredible visual artist. Please take a moment to visit his website at www.hherrerachez.com.

In 2011, Homero and I ventured to open our virtual store on Etsy, called Clouds on Feet. Here we sell handmade jewelry by Homero and myself. You can take a look here: www.cloudsonfeet.etsy.com.

Thank you for taking the time to check my website.
